On April 27th we entered into the second of 13 Imix Coils in the 2024 to 2028 Omega Coil that began on January 1st 2024. Today we begin the first 2 day period of the series with 9 Chuen, Akbal in the Dreamspell, and 4 Manik, Kan in the Tzolkin. With the trecenas Akbal and Kan we're in a time representing the seed state when it's only beginning to stir but is yet to struggle against the outter shell. Subtle and profound processes taking place both within us and in the greater environment in which we find ourselves. Akbal is House, Calli to the Aztec, sometimes represented as Night, extending from that it's the womb, those things that enclose and sustain us. It's the space in which we dream. Kan, the Seed, a form of consciousness both in a state of perfect being and of perfect becoming. We're at the last day of the peak period of Akbal with 9 Chuen, the weaver of time, divine child, Monkey and sometimes trickster. With Imix in the antipod of Chuen this can represent a time of disturbances in the psyche or dreams of sensitive individuals. An intensification of idiosyncratic behaviour or thinking. It may be easier during this time to decieve yourself, or be decieved by others. This time signals a need for, and capacity for lucidness both in our dreaming mind and our conscious mind. 4 Manik in the Tzolkin, with the tone 4 meaning both measure and time, while Manik, the Deer is represented in the glyph by the Hunter, Ahau's, hand. Timing and judgment is everything, and so much of our timing and judgment comes from our unconscious programming. Arising through our instincts and motivating our behaviour and actions, like the deer. As the 4th day of the trecena of the 4th glyph Kan, Manik is that indwelling spirit of grace given to the seed. A symbol of the nature of its life force encompassing both the active and passive forces. The passive forces relating to that which we can't control, while the active relate to what we can. Like the seed our engagement with life and the demands that it places on us are involuntary. There will be consequences to every movement or pause. The existential fact of our existence removing some degree of will from the equation. But not entirely, its expression becomes relative to the non negotiable finitudes of our reality, leaving us to discover and define them, and in that, discover and come to understand ourselves. For now this is a time of inner or hidden growth. ~

~1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 4, 3, 7, 1, 8, 9, 8, 8, 7, 6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 2, 8, 1, 9... ~ Today, April 18th 2024, we enter into the last 9 day period in the first of 13 Imix Coil's in the 2024 to 2028 Omega Coil that began January 1st. We're nearing the end of the trecena of Oc in the Dreamspell with the day 11 Ahau, while the sign for the period, Oc, is sitting in the antipode position for the day. 6 Cib in the Tzolkin, the 6th day of the trecena of Chuen, this combination presents with 6 Oc energy, one of the most omnious combinations in the calendars. Coming through 6 Cib this can represent maturing through loss, or relinquishing old ways that no longer fit who we are becoming. With 11 Ahau it can be represented as both the adult struggling with latent immaturity, or a need to connect with their inner child, or it can be a child wanting to be in charge of their own lives while crashing up against their limitations and the authority figures around them. The symbols for Cib are dynamic. The Vulture, the Owl, and Wax. Cib days are particularly considered good for asking for forgiveness of sin. With Cib being the 16th glyph and 6 representing death, for which Cib is the animal spirit, this reflects the first perfect square in the Imix Coil, with the appearance of 6 at the 16th position. This is a time of completion, while also representing fruition and new stages of life beginning, especially end life stages, or stages concerning lessons of loss, sacrifice, consquence, and death. Where Oc represents law and order, and cosmic law and determinism, on a day when the period is in the antipode position, you can expect things to feel unfair. And they may be or may not be, it really depends on how this is showing up, feelings can be self deceptive.
With Ahau ego's can be very active. Ahau, the natural actor, and sometimes narcissist, playing, projecting, predating, asserting themselves on to the world. Cib balances the dynamic with focusing on the sacred, tempered with the necessary, and pragmatic. Reminding us to be humble in consideration of our human failings and lifes patterns. People dealing with the dark side of Cib may be struggling with compulsions, addictions, vices, and the circumstances which they've brought into their lives. On such days any hidden aspects can be more easily seen, and any illusions seen through. Cib is considered a day for tricking the trickster. At the level of Ahau and Cib being symbolized as the Sun and the Vulture, the vulture is known to cleanse itself by opening its wings into the sun. This tells us something about the meaning of today's energy , that it's ultimately healing. To me it symbolizes turning towards divine correction to wash away spiritual dross. This is a good day to let the light in so to speak. This 9 day period culmunates into the beginning of the Trencea of Kan in the tzolkin while we reach 6 Lamat in the Dreamspell, finishing the first of 13 Imix Coils in our current Omega Coil with the trecena changing from Oc to Akbal in the meantime. When we begin the second of our 13 Imix Coils, we'll be at the peak of Akbal on the day 7 Muluc in the DS, with 2 Chicchen in the Tzolkin. While the signs for today colour the next 9 days, the sigs that the new Coil begins with colour the whole Coil. 7 Muluc, Akbal... It's emotional, personal insightful. Muluc, the water, rain, Moon, we're coalescing in a safe space, or trying to. There's a desire for peace internally, it acts on the space around us effecting the home, or work place. A sense of oppressiveness can cause pressures to turn inwards where they play out through our subjective projections. We can see an intensification of the inner world and monologue, while also seeing an intensification of dreams that leave us with an emotional residue. This is a critical developmental stage for humanity through us as individuals. 7 is akin to the holy spirit when it's positively aligned, but when it's negative, it's the embodiment of evil. Deeply pathological, depraved, and remorseless. In combination with 2 Chicchen in the Tzolkin, we're seeing a deep inner struggle for the spirit between good and evil. Chicchen is the serpent, but in particular Quetzalcoatl a divine dragon, something I've come to understand as a seraphim. 2 being the tone of spirit and duality it brings to mind the antagonist to Quetzalcoatl, Tezcotalipoca. Also a dragon, associated with the trickster. 2 Chicchen can also represent the two calendars and their interconnected meaning, with the serpents representing time and the natural cycles and dynamics that the calendar observes, fitting for the second day of a period and the first of a new Imix Coil ruled by the power and path of the seed. Beginning on 7 Muluc (DS) and 2 Chicchen (TZ), the next coil will end on 6 Chicchen, Ahau in the Dreamspell and 1 Imix in the Tzolkin, Ahau and Imix, the culmunation and origin, father and mother, conscious and subconscious, awake and dremaing mind. We move from 2 Chicchen, Kan, in the Tzolkin to 6 Chicchen, Ahau in the Dreamspell. Seeing a period of morphogenisis of the energy as it matures to a point of dissolution. There is a period of facing and removing obsticles preceding a rebirth, spontaneous metanoia and new beginnings come the fall. By the time we're in the 3rd Imix Coil of this series, starting with the omnious combination of 7 Cimi/Death and 2 Ik/Wind, we'll be considerably more weathered to the landscape than we can imagine from here. |
